The Bellefontaine High School Orchestra hosted the All City Strings concert in the BHS Auditorium on Thursday night.
The 5th Grade Orchestra, 6th Grade Orchestra, 7th Grade Orchestra, 8th Grade Orchestra, and BHS Orchestra each performed.
Special awards were presented to each orchestra. Here are the 110% Award winners:
Zane Chiles – 5th Grade
Clare Middleton – 5th Grade
Jessica Grumbling – 6th Grade
William Campbell – 6th Grade
Antonio Avalos Mendez – 7th Grade
Elijah Shurelds – 7th Grade
Chloe O'Chocke – 7th Grade
Haley Coleman – 8th Grade
Thane Admire – 8th Grade
Joy Fogan – 8th Grade
Alex Sandoval – 9th Grade
Emma Suman – 10th Grade
Lilly Hudson – 11th Grade
Two seniors received special awards:
Mason Stanley – Senior Director Award
Jalyn Savage – National Orchestra Award
The BHS senior orchestra members are Ella Costin, Emma Costin, Julia Easton, Ella Kuba, Theo Reminder, Zoey Rister, Jalyn Savage, Mason Stanley, and Emily Taylor.
The BCS Orchestra Director is Laura Mitchell.
Earlier this month, the Bellefontaine High School Orchestra earned a Superior rating at the OMEA State Orchestra Adjudicated Event.
The BHS Orchestra will perform at Kings Island on May 4th.
The BMS and BHS orchestras will be featured at the Fine Arts Festival at BHS on May 15th.
