The 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Tecumseh Monday night 39-14. The Lady Chiefs relied on a strong defensive effort and balanced scoring to improve to 6-4 on the year. Emma Whitaker paced the Chiefs with 10 points while Grace Brown added 8 points and Lola Kuba chipped in a season high 6 points. Alivia Wage, Sophia Jacobs,, Hailee Lamb and Presley Vigansky rounded out the scoring for Bellefontaine. Jillian Ullom, Elise Sampson Cruz and Kennley Newland played strong team defense. Presley Vigansky and Paige Smith were top rebounders with 8 and 5 boards apiece. The 7th grade Lady Chiefs will host Northwestern Thursday night.

8th grade boys beat Tecumseh 54-34. 
Patrick Stolly lead all scores with 21points.

Please DO NOT leave your Chromebooks in cars overnight, this past weekend there were several that were stolen from vehicles. Leaving laptops in a car overnight or over a weekend makes it an easy target for thieves. 

Second, with the upcoming cold weather I wanted to make sure to let everyone know NOT to leave laptops in cars overnight, or for long periods of time. Cracked screens may occur from laptops going from extremely cold car to a warm house. The sudden temperature change can cause the screen to crack.
