The 7th Grade Girls Basketball team had their 6 game win streak snapped last night after falling to London 37-25. Hailee Lamb lead the way for Bellefontaine with 10 points and 5 steals. Presley Vigansky and Emma Whitaker each added 4 points and 4 rebounds. Sophia Jacobs chipped in 3 points. The Lady Chiefs are now 10-5 on the year.

The 8th Grade Lady Chiefs defeated London this evening 34-8. Leading the scoring with a game high and career high 32 points, was Kelsie Snapp. Snap also pulled down 14 rebounds. Addison Wical added six rebounds, three steals and two assists. Madi Zedeker contributed five rebounds and six assists. Elliot Lang added two points. Ava Dolan, Claire Brown and Emma Merrin all played well defensively and handled the ball well. The Chiefs will return to action on Monday when the host Shawnee.

The Bellefontaine 8th grade boys fell to London 39-29. Jameson Clement lead scoring with 16 point

Students from the BMS and BIS made us proud last night. We had three students finish in the tip five of the Logan County Spelling Bee last night.  Max Fissel won the title by spelling the word poultice, Congratulations!!!

Please do not leave Chromebooks in cars overnight. Leaving a laptop in a car overnight makes it an easy target for thieves. Second, leaving a laptop in a cold car for long periods of time can cause the screen to crack.

Attention 8th Graders with interest in joining the marching band color guard next school year. Have you ever thought about joining the color guard in marching band? Well now is the time! The band has been selected to perform in the ESPN Cheez It Bowl next December and you can be a part of it.
Prep Sessions and Tryouts will be held Monday, February 7th - Thursday, February 10th in the evening at Bellefontaine High School. Information sheets are available in the band room on the white board. All you need to do to sign up for the sessions is get the letter,  scan the QR code and fill out the form.
