The 7th grade Lady Chiefs improved to 9-4 on the year by earning a tough hard fought victory at Jonathan Alder Thursday night. The Lady Chiefs used balanced scoring in a team effort. Hailee Lamb lead the Chiefs with 8 points. Presley Vigansky added 6 points and Emma Whitaker chipped in 5. Ealise Simpson Cruz and Grace Brown rounded out the scoring. Paige Smith helped grab a team high 7 rebounds. Bellefontaine will travel to Ridgemont Saturday morning.

The 8th grade Lady Chiefs lost a heart breaker this evening to Jonathan Alder. It was a very evenly matched contest that came down to seconds for JA to secure the win. Kelsie Snapp led the Chiefs with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Addison Wical had 2 points and 5 rebounds. Madi Zedeker had 7 rebounds. Ava Dolan and Claire Brown combined for 5 rebounds. The Chiefs only had five team turnovers and handled the pressure very well. The Chiefs fought hard the whole game and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. The girls return to action Saturday where they will travel to Ridgemont.

The BMS 7th graders got a solid team effort to defeat Jonathan Alder 47-30. Spencer Stolly had 10 points, with Quentin Miller and AJ Conaway pitching in 8 points apiece.

The 8th Grade Boys beat Jonathan Alder 37-31. Jair Mundy lead all scores with 13

Please do not leave Chromebooks in cars overnight. Leaving a laptop in a car overnight makes it an easy target for thieves. Second, leaving a laptop in a cold car for long periods of time can cause the screen to crack.

For students going to D.C. , the second payment is due on Friday, January 14th. Make sure to get your payment made on the Prodigy Student Travel Website. If you have questions or concerns talk to Mr. Reser.

Attention 8th Graders with interest in joining the marching band color guard next school year. Have you ever thought about joining the color guard in marching band? Well now is the time! The band has been selected to perform in the ESPN Cheez It Bowl next December and you can be a part of it.
Prep Sessions and Tryouts will be held Monday, February 7th - Thursday, February 10th in the evening at Bellefontaine High School. Information sheets are available in the band room on the white board. All you need to do to sign up for the sessions is get the letter,  scan the QR code and fill out the form. See you at the clinics!

Reminder, Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day there will be NO SCHOOL. Please plan accordingly.
