This week starts Red Ribbon Week!

Monday - Put a hat on it.
Tuesday - Wear neon.
Wednesday - Wear your favorite jersey or sports gear.
Thursday - Dress up like your favorite teacher. Please no masks or distracting accessories.
Friday – Celebrate our Chieftain Tribe! Wear red, black, and white!

Girls Basketball Open Gym:

Try-Outs will begin on Monday, Oct. 24 - Wed, Oct. 26 from 630- 800p.  See Mr. Vigansky for GB dates/times.

Washington D.C. Info

Braided Bread Fundraiser is halfway over. We are hosting this fundraiser online until October 24th.  Reach out to neighbors, family, and friends to order their Butter Braids for the Holiday Season!  Also, LAST DAY to get registered for Washington D.C. is October 26th.  If you have any questions or need help getting registered see Mr. Reser during Chieftain Time or lunch.

 

Sports Highlights

Grace Brown was crowned as Ohio's Fastest Middle School girl Sunday at the Middle School State Championships. Brown finished her season undefeated and repeated as the Division II State Champion. She had the fastest time across all 3 divisions earning her the honor of Ohio's Fastest Girl with a time of 11:31.

Brown will run next at the XC Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky on November 5.   GOOD LUCK GRACE!!!!

The BMS CC Girls team ran an outstanding team race to get on the podium placing 4th as a team in Division II at the Middle School State Championships on Sunday. Grace Brown repeated as the Division II State Champion with a time of 11:31. The Chiefs got strong races from Hailee Lamb, Rylee Yelton, Sloan Stolly and Hannah Wilson who finished her season with a personal best time of 14:34.

The BMS Boys cross country ran a great team race and finished the season placing 5th in Division II at the Middle School State Cross Country Championships on Sunday. Jake Moreland brought home a top-15 medal placing 4th overall. Oliver Grandstaff and Landon Rister finished off their seasons strong with personal best times.
