Robotics will meet this Wednesday and next Wednesday right after school until 4:30. Make sure your parents know and you have a ride to pick you up.

Reminder to all students who plan on playing sports this fall. Please stay on top of your grades as the grades you receive this 9 weeks are what will determine your athletic  eligibility next fall.

The Bellefontaine Middle School Boys Track Team took home 3rd place at the Ben Logan Invitational Thursday night. Kaiden Foulk was named boys MVP of the meet. Athletes placing were:

Kaiden Foulk - 1st in the 100m dash, 1st in the 200m dash and 1st in the 400m dash. Hayden Maus - 1st in the 1600m run, 1st in the 800m run and 6th in high jump. Jacob Henry - 2nd in the 110m Hurdles, 1st in the 200m Hurdles and 5th in the 200m dash. Jacob Moreland - 4th in the 1600m run and 7th in the 800m run. Vincent Valdez - 8th in the 100m dash. The 4x100 team of Princeton Allen, Draven Drake, Jacob Christen and Vincent Valdez took 4th place. The 4x200 team of Princeton Allen, Draven Drake, Jacob Christen and Vincent Valdez took 5th place. The 4x400 team of Princeton Allen, Jacob Christen, Josias Robles and Cody Hudson took 6th place. The 4x800 team of Jacob Moreland, Oliver Grandstaff, Josias Robles and Cody Hudson took 4th place.  The Girls team finished 2nd, taking 1st place in 8 of the 16 events. Callie Shumaker was named meet MVP for her 3 individual 1st places in 100m hurdles, 200m hurdles, and 400m.  Also, placing for the girls: Kelsie Snapp: shot put (1st) and Discus (1st) Grace Brown: 1600m (1st) and 800m (1st)

Harper Penhorwood: 800m (2nd) and pole vault (3rd) Kaleigh Flora: pole Vault (2nd) Emma Whitaker: shot pit (3rd) 4x100 realy team of Ava Layman, Ryann Gatchel, Chloe Stolly, Jaylinn Foulk (3rd) 4x800 relay team of Hannah Wilson, Rylee Yelton, Hailee Lamb, Chloe Stolly (3rd) Their next meet is at West Liberty on Monday.

There are 70 yearbooks available for preorder. You can order online or get an order form from Mrs. Belser or the office. The link to order online can be found on the BMS website and BCS FB page.

Volleyball open gyms are starting after Spring Break. Pick up information in the cafeteria or see Coach Poppel, Coach Zuk or Coach Hayduk.  

Staff and students with the warm weather right around the corner we all need to revisit the dress code. Teachers a quick refresher may be helpful.

Any 8th Grader interested in trying out for the HS Show Choir (Les Fons) should see the informational flyer outside the choir room. To be in Les Fons, you also have to be part of the Symphonic Choir. Any 8th Choir who is interested is able to audition.  See Mr. Henry if you have

Bellefontaine School Resource Officers will be hosting a spring kick-off to their outreach events at the Varsity Baseball/JV Softball games Wednesday April 20 at Blue Jacket Park. Come out and enjoy the game in your Chieftain gear and get a hotdog and snacks. You could also receive a prize!
