The BMS Boys cross country team placed 6th out of 32 teams at the Spencerville Invitational. Hayden Maus finished in 3rd place overall with a personal best time of 11:46. Jake Moreland finished in 6th overall with a personal best time of 12:02. Brenden Murray (45th in 13:18), Zerek Longbrake (108th in 14:52), Brandon Wong (118th in 15:19), and Oliver Grandstaff (141st in 16:17) added their best races of the season to aid the Chiefs effort. Other finishers for the Chiefs were Van LaFolette (76th in 14:07), Josias Robles (107th in 14:51), Will Myers (154th in 17:06), Alex Johnson (160th in 17:32), and Jake Christen (166th in 17:58).
The Chiefs run next at the Cedarville Invitational on Saturday.

The BMS Girls cross country team ran their best race of the season to win the 30 team Spencerville Invitational. Grace Brown led the way for the Chiefs finishing in first place overall with a personal best time of 12:14. Callie Shumaker ran the best race of her career finishing in 8th with a personal best time of 13:40. Keira Manahan (23rd in 14:18) and Harper Penhorwood (25th in 14:20) also ran personal best times. Rounding out the Chiefs effort was Hailee Lamb (44th in 14:57), Hannah Wilson (88th in 17:02), and Isabel Beck (115th in 18:23).
The Chiefs will run next at the Cedarville Invitational on Saturday.


Reminder, tomorrow Tuesday September 14th all Candy Bar Money is due. Please fill out the envelope, place your money inside, bring it to school and turn it in the cafeteria.

Wednesday September 15th will be picture day!
