BMS Cross Country teams ran at the Graham Invitational Saturday. In the mile fun run, 6th grader Hayden Maus, ran to a 2nd place finish in a time of 6:04.
The BMS Girls had another solid team effort and placed 5th overall.  Ella Reier and Kailyln Newman led the way with to 20 finishes out of 120 girls.  Personal best times were ran by Nora Thornton, Lilly Hudson, Claire Grandstaff, Renee Thornhill and Zoey Rister.
The BMS Boys had their best team effort of the season to place 5th overall.  Tony Stewart led the way with a 6th place finish in a field of 160 boys.  Alex Crabill had a top 25 finish and Elias Abrego had a breakout race and beat his personal best time by over a minute.

Dazzler tryouts are Tuesday.  If you went to the sessions on Thursday and Friday, make sure you are signed up for a time.  The sign up sheet is hanging outside the choir room.

Do you enjoy problem solving and challenging math problems?  Consider MATHCOUNTS which will begin Tuesday, September 17th.  A flier with more information about this club will be available in the office and through your math teacher! If you have questions please see Mrs. Hiatt.

Calling all Model United Nations Students. We will begin meetings next week. There are two options for meetings. You only need to show up to one meeting.  Either Monday 3-4:30 or Wednesday 5-6:30.

BHS Softball Team is hosting a girls softball clinic on Sunday October 13.  Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl interested, please pick up a form in the office.
