This weekend your Girls' Chieftain track team traveled to the suburbs of Bellefontaine to compete in the BOSS Invitational at West Liberty High. The ladies smoked the field and won the 8 team meet by 50 points. Taking home MVP honors for the girls in a VERY competitive group was Ava Reeves!
Winning events for Bellefontaine were:
Ava Reeves (100m, 200m)
Kylie Adams (200 hurdles)
Callie Shumaker (400m)
Kelsie Snapp (Discus)
and the 4x200 team of Ryann Gatchell, Claire McDaniel, Chloe Stolly, and Miabelle Zayas. 
Also Scoring for the Chiefs were: 
Kylie Adams (100 hurdles, long jump)
Callie Shumaker (100 and 200 hurdles)
Brianne Sechrest (100m, pole vault)
Harper Penhorwood (800m, pole vault)
Emily Lamb (Shot put, High jump)
Kailyn Newman (400m)
Drew McComas (800m)
Kelsey Snapp (Shot put)
Lexi Yoder (high jump)
Ava Reeves (long Jump)
Chloe Heminger (Discus)
and the 4x400 team of Penhorwood, Newman, Snapp, and Zayas.  Great job ladies!!!

The Bellefontaine Middle School track team put together their best performance of the season taking 2nd place at the BOSS Invitational at West Liberty out of 8 teams on Saturday. Carter Kuhn was awarded the boys mvp of the invitational. Athletes placing were:
Kaiden Foulk - 4th in the 400m dad and 6th in the 200m dash
Elias Abrego - 5th in the 1600m run and 6th in the 800m run
Hayden Maus - 6thin the 1600m run
Carter Buck- 6th in the 100m hurdles
Jordan Hensley - 4th in Shot Put and 4th in Discus
The 4x400 relay team of Elias Abrego, Wyatt Popp, Xavier Sims and Hayden Maus took 3rd.
