The BMS Pride of the Tribe is Janelle Sims. Janelle is a remote student for BMS and Mrs. Jordan nominated her by saying, "Janelle Sims is a beacon of light because she cares very deeply about her education via remote learning. She attends zoom meetings faithfully and is eager to complete assignments with utmost effort. She is in communication with her teachers whenever she needs clarification. She is simply a joy to teach.  Congratulations to Janelle Sims and give her a remote high five when you get a chance." 

The Bellefontaine 7th grade girls basketball team lost to London 24-19 Thursday night. Addison Wical paced the Chiefs with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Adison Postle added 5 points and Chloe Heminger chipped in 4 points. Kelsey Snapp added 3 points and 5 rebounds. The 7th grade is now 8-6 on the year and will travel to Shawnee on Tuesday night.

Bellefontaine defeated London 50-25 and improved to 13-2 on the season.  Every player reached the scoring column for the Lady Chiefs as they shot 66% from the floor and dished out 13 assists. Tiffany Boop had 13 and Quinlan Casey and Ava Reeves each had 8.  Gabbe Hoon, Rylie Reames, and Reeves controlled the boards with 16 rebounds. Boop, Casey and Hoon turned in strong defensive efforts and gathered 14 steals on the win.

The 7th grade boys basketball team fell to London 30-28 in overtime.

Bellefontaine lost to London 44-24. Jacob Salyer lead the Chiefs with 12 points.

School absences are at an all time high!  When you are out sick for more than a day you should be in email communication with your teachers.  When you return, it is your responsibility to to get your work made up! Talk to your teachers!!!
