The Bellefontaine 7th Grade Girls Basketball team improved to 8-5 on the season with a 28-8 victory over Riverside on Saturday. Kelsey Snapp scored 14 points and added 8 rebounds. Addison Wical netted 8 points with 4 steals. Madi Zedeker lead the team with 2 assists while Adison Postle chipped in 4 points and 5 rebounds. Ellie Lang rounded out the scoring with a basket for the Lady Chiefs. Bellefontaine will travel to London on Thursday.

Bellefontaine scored a 42-23 victory over Riverside on Saturday.  Tiffany Boop scored 13 and Ava Reeves 10 in the win. Quinlan Casey had 5 assists.
Gabbe Hoon, Kylie Adams and Boop combined for 15 rebounds. Boop, Casey, and Reeves turned in strong defensive efforts with 12 steals.
 
The Lady Chiefs are now 12-2 on the season. 
The BMS Pride of the Tribe for Tuesday, January 19 is Lexie VanSchoyck! Mr. Hughes said, "I nominated Lexie because she has a true desire to learn and is a superb role model in the classroom. Lexie makes excellent use of the test taking strategies that she has been taught. She is always willing to help a fellow student during class and she is not afraid to ask questions to get a better understanding. It is a joy to have the opportunity to teach Lexie for 2 blocks every day." Congratulations Lexie!
