The BMS Pride of the Tribe for Thursday, February 18 is Carson Hayman. Mrs. Wren made the nomination by saying, "He is an avid reader as he is the top patron of the library with 27 checkouts in the past 12 months. He has read the Amulet series twice. He is always kind and respectful, returns his book in a timely manner and shares the knowledge he has gained from reading with me. He has just recently began reading a new series we have in the library.....I can't wait to hear his review!"  Congratulations Carson!

"Attention any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball next year.  We will be hosting open gyms here at the middle school each Monday and Wednesday we have school from 6-8pm for the remainder of the year.  We are extremely proud of the direction our volleyball program is heading and strongly encourage all of you to attend these opportunities to learn, develop, and master your volleyball skills.  If you have any questions, see Coach Hayduk, Prine, or Zuk."

Are you a 7th or 8th grade student that wants to join the middle school track team? Good news the track season will be starting soon. Due to the pandemic and cold weather the first week will be in the gym and we will be splitting up grade levels. 8th grade boys and girls will practice starting Monday, February 22, Wednesday, February 24 and Friday, February 26 after school until 4:30. 7th Grade boys and girls will practice starting Tuesday, February 23 and Thursday, February 25 after school until 4:30. Make sure that you bring your own water bottle and you have an up-to-date sports physical on file at the school. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Fatzinger.
