The BMS Pride of the Tribe for Monday, December 14 is Mikey Whaley! Mr. DeNijs nominated Mikey by saying, "he continually exhibits the balance needed to succeed in the classroom and in life.  Mikey comes into LA every day with a joke to tell and a smile on his face.  While he may not enjoy all aspects of the class, he always tries his best and is able to take the information given to him to become a better reader, writer, and student." Congratulations Mikey!

The Bellefontaine Middle School robotics teams attended a double header Vex Robotics Competition this weekend at North Union Middle School, the first official Vex competition in the state this season.  Five teams attended.  During the morning Qualification Rounds the five middle school teams battled it with our own 7185B comprised of Hayden Maus, Max Fissel, Cody Hudson and Mason Swisher staying at the top of the leader board.  All five teams went on to compete in the afternoon with two teams - 7865B and 7865D (Bryce Keels, Jacob Lynch, Rory Pierce and Luke Steiner) making it through to the quarter finals and team 7865B making it to the semi-finals to almost win a spot at the State Championships the first competition out of the gate.  Congratulations to all 18 students who competed Saturday. You represented Bellefontaine Middle School very well and it was a fun day at the competition.  Thanks for your hard work - Mrs. C.

Reminder Tuesday December 22nd we will dismiss 1 hour early, please make arrangements.
