Last night the BMS girls track team won the last home meet of the season by 18 points against West Liberty and North Union. 
Winning for the Chiefs were:
Ava Reeves (100 m and breaking the school long jump record...again)
Brianne Sechrist (200 , pole vault)
Emily Lamb (shot put, high jump)
Kelsy Snapp (discus)
Taylor Banta (pole vault)
Kylie Adams, Callie Shumaker, Reeves, Sechrist (4x200 relay)
Harper Penhorwood, Kylie Newman, Snapp, Shumaker (4x400 relay)
The team travels Springfield Shawnee tomorrow for the Shawnee Invitational. 
Setting PR's for the team were:
Madison Christman, Andie Eicher, Callie Shumaker, Belen Abrego, Isabell Beck, Arrisa Carver, Aliyah Divina, Paige McComas, Ava Reeves, Kaidyn Lenhart, Drew McComas, Claire McDaniel, Jai Abyhankar, Chloe Heminger, Emily Lamb, Emma Merrin, Ryann Gatchel, Taylor Banta, Brianne Sechrist, and Chloe Stolly. 

The Bellefontaine Middle School Boys Track Team competed in a home tri-meet against North Union and West Liberty Monday night. Athletes placing:
Carter Kuhn -1st in the 100m dash, 1st in Pole Vault and 2nd in the 200m Hurdles 
Hayden Maus - 2nd in the 1600m run and 3rd in the 800m run
Carter Buck - 4th in 110m Hurdles and 4th in 200m Hurdles
Alex Crabill - 3rd in Long Jump
Colin Bright - 3rd in Shot Put
Jordan Hensley - 2nd in Shot Put 
Trent Marcinko - 4th in Discus
Nolan Core - 3rd in Discus

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing tennis for BHS next year, on Wednesday, April 28 during lunch in the library.
